Where to unlock mobile phone in NZ
I bought a Nokia 7230 in Australia for $99 to use when I was there (they're $328 here in NZ)
Just wondered if anyone has found a cheap place to unlock mobiles in eitehr Tauranga or Wellington.
Aus. Vodafone quoted me $80.
Thanks

If you google mobile phone unlock code you can find some sites that will give you codes to do it for free. I did a couple of Nokia's for my parents last year.

Re: Where to unlock mobile phone in NZ
I went into Bayfair Telecom shop and she gave me a number of someone that can do it, i threw it away as she said phones in NZ aren't locked anyway. I would try a sim card anyway to see if it is locked.

Haifa Thank you this info.
I've been unable to find anywhere in Tauranga, one shop in Lower Hutt shopping Mall said they could do it by sending it away and it would take 2 weeks. The Grand arcade shop in Willis st. Wellington is now run by an English couple, they couldn't unlock the phone.
