Yes, am hoping for a much better and longer summer this year. Las year was dire really, only started in late January and had gone by April.
I was freezing the rest of the time, especially indoors.
Heating has had to be switched off as it was a case of eating or heating??
No choice really.

a good indication of the warmth and sun is how much balage we cut of the same paddock, year after year.Last year we had a record cut.This wasn't because it was cold, sunless and unsummer like.
Perhaps there was just a chilly micro climate over CHch.
