Default When to submit migrant levy fee

Just wondering if I should submit the migrant levy form and fee with my ititial application?Again I seem to be geting conflicting information One part says only submit the form if I'm sending the original passport with the application, which I don't really want to do as I plan to go to NZ in Nov for a holiday! However, another part says my application cannot be processed until the migrant levy is received! Please advise if you've got this far already. Thanks, this site is just fantastic

We included it when we handed ours in - they didn't keep our passports though!!!

So, if I were you and needed my passport, I would send in a certified copy of my passport and would include the migrant levy form too - can't do any harm can it - and they won't charge the payment to your card unless your application is successful so there's nothing to lose by sending it in with your ITA IMHO...

we sent our form in with our passports when they went in for their bluestickers - didn't delay anything.
