NZ lamb and chilli tomato wholemeal wrap with mixed leaves.

Washed down with a cheeky little Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Life is tough at times.....

Home-made burgers on the bbq with a Black Dog Pilsner. Eaten outside in the glorious sunshine of course

And thanks MrsF, I now have a huge craving for a chocolate trumpet! Or maybe a Magnum, ohhhh white chocolate Magnum!

Anyone who isn't having a meat pie and chips is obviously having problems with acculturation :-)

I rediscovered a recipe for Chicken Chow Mein on Friday. Added a couple of extra ingredients to it and OH & I enjoyed it so much that we had it for dinner on Friday night and Sunday night. So yummy .

It was a long hard day for Mr BEVS yesterday so I thought to give him some comfort food he likesalot.

One solid brick of toad-in-the-hole. All crispy on the outside and all heavy unrisen squidge on the inside.
I think the sausages died of suffocation.
