It ended up being lasagne, with enough for tonight as well. You're welcome to come round if you want some

Malcolm's hotpot for my family tonight. Potatoes, parsnips, carrots and turnip with any meat you have left over from the previous day! All in one pot with gravy and crusty bread. Yummy. Xx

Oooo parsnips

Tonight is 'something with chicken'. I'm not doing too well on the organising front at the moment

Spinach , mushroom, gruyere quiche with new pots and salad.

Himself can have banana loaf with fresh apricots and a bit of cream plonked on top if he needs pud.

Chicken thighs on the barbie sprinkled with chilli pepper and garlic, portabello mushrooms and small sweet peppers also on the barbie with spicy rice and salad mixed with red onions and grated raw beetroot out of the wifey's garden patch...washed down with something that makes you sleep well

Both sound really lovely, especially for such a summer evening, but hold the spicy chilli stuff.

I love the smells but the merest hint creases me up. Heck. Ginger beer creases me up.

Is a Thai curry 'hot'? I can't do any form of 'hot'. Mr BEVS on the other hand

Sorry but I love HOT perhaps its a male thing My taste buds like a nice big jar of Indian Chilli pickles with a glass of really cheap Merlot washed down by an indigestion tablet
No sense of smell left

Ah! Himself has little sense of smell . Rugby days.

I love the smell. I just can't eat it without suffering.

Indian korma is the limit provided it is very mild indeed. Very little heat.

I just wondered about the Thai ones. They might be tasty perhaps with just a teeny weeny touch of heat

Ahhhh Thai curries are generally hot and spicy and I love them. However.....I did a "Thai style" curry as Mr bb cannot eat spicy food at the moment. So it's just flavoursome.....coriander, lemongrass, coconut..... Crikey even BEVS would've enjoyed it

Must admit I sprinkled a teaspoon of dried chillies on my plate though
