Hello all, so what was /is going to be the daftest or most obscure thing anyone has shipped over to NZ and why? Apart from my boxes and boxes of stationery and smelly stuff I'm taking lots of tesco value food bags and bin liners cos they are so cheap here, surely NZ couldn't price match them Not particularly strange just a bit stupid maybe.... I'm certain there will be some really, really strange things listed....... Bevissa

Our packers inadvertenly packed the oven racks from our UK oven even though the oven was staying in the house! They also managed to pack some bread but luckily we spotted that one

A bin bag from the kitchen. Something brown and runny in there when it finally arrived!!

Half a christmas tree! I kid you not, the top half arrived here in NZ while the other half was packed into our car roof box which didn't make (fit) on the container, it wasn't until we waved goodbye to the container we opened the roof box and saw the half tree!

OK anyone any ideas for half a tree.....

A box full of scrap paper that was meant to go for recycling but inadvertantly got piled up in my "to go" pile. Needless to say it went straight for recycling once it finally got here.

You have to watch those packers, they'll pack anything that's not screwed down or fixed to the wall. We also ended up bringing a bag of rubbish, that was meant for the tip. Thankfully it was just a few minging baking tins and an old toaster, it could have been worse.

Of things intentionally brought, a TV that wouldn't work and wardrobes.

I found a packet of Polos and a stinky half smoked cigarette in a bag two years or more later.

They packed my tea mug as well - I finished my tea, put down the mug then couldn't find it 'cos it was already wrapped and in a box!

No John Mason - fortunately ours stayed sealed so we just put it out with the rubbish!!
