What's come over me?
For the first time ever, I'm wearing a pair of Flip-Flops in the house.
Do I need medication or is this natural?
I've only been in NZ a week.

I've worn flip-flops in the house in summer in Britain loads of times. Done that in NZ too.
For the full kiwi look, go barefoot outside in the street, in the supermarket. Go on, join the drongo parade !

It's a natural progression.
They are almost as comfortable as jandals Two years in and I'm following Snap Shots choice of drongo wear.

Jandals in the house, to the supermarket, in the garden, everywhere, even when it is raining I find I'm wearing them still, feet dry quicker as soon as the sun comes out
Gym clothes or jogging bottoms as daily clothes instead of lounge at home clothes, and generally have found that clothing is a lot more casual here
Have been tempted with barefoot but will leave that to the kids for now
