A beautiful canvas print of one of our Cooke Island photos, National Trust membership, wine, chocs, M & S vouchers and some cash but best presents of all were OH & DD cooked a lovely dinner which was ready when I got in from work and I got to spend the rest of the day with OH & 'kids'

A lawn mower...well that was for both of us. I have never mowed a lawn in my life but appreciate OH's efforts

Woke up this morning to find our cat Harry had died during the night.....not so good
He was a Turkish Van rescue cat who has been with us for Fourteen years very aloof and used us as a hotel really but who will still be missed. We have been expecting the inevitable and realise we cannot adopt any more strays until we settle in a new home/continent/hemisphere. Have to try to bury him as soon as daylight comes....god knows how deep the soil will be frozen to. The christmas tree seems so selfish now......

Well the sunshine is helping to disguise my pasty white legs and unemployment has helped me lose quite a bit of weight. Sweet as.
Working back in an office soon could put paid to that though, eh?
