NZ: co-ordinator/international tertiary student advisor (after having tried my hand at being a qualified primary teacher)

Well I am a local so I'm not sure this is as relevant:
NZ: I worked for a financial company regarding trust funds and stuff.
UK: Other than a reasonable stint in social services (elderly & mental health) I worked as a Personal Assistant (PA to the head of a large government department).
NZ: I'm an Executive Assistant (EA to the head of a large NGO). Which is a glorified PA.
So I did roughly a similar job before I came home to NZ. Salary wise I am on above average income levels in NZ and about midrange for my salary itself. I think in the UK I earned more than average for a PA (even taking into account I was in London) but less than the average overall income. My social services salary in the UK was loads lower than the equivalent job in NZ. It was pretty much just over minimum wage. Horrid

Worked in an office in the UK. Came to NZ bought a Franchise < big mistake> but now work full time on the Internet doing Internet Marketing.

In the Uk i worked for Virgin Atlantic, in Nz i work for Air New Zealand, same job different location
