Default What to do in and around Dunedin

We have booked a trip for 6 days at the end of this month arriving flying in and out of Dunedin.

We are looking at hiring a car for the duration and stopping where ever takes our fancy each night.

We are open to suggestions of what to see and do.

We are not into the adventure sports but do love nature scenery etc... we are also into craft shops and the strange and unusual.

Thanks

If you drive out to the peninsula, it is best to come over Highcliff Road all the way to Portobello, the views are fantastic.
