Do they still have that chinese takeaway up in the plaza thats self service? If I remember correctly you chose a sized tub, depending how much you wanted etc and were charged accordingly and helped yourself.

And yes that Chinese is still there but I've never been to it. When were you in Whangaparaoa?

My (Luke) Aunty and Uncle live in Whangaparaoa. Stanmore bay area.
Just up the road from the sports centre.
I travelled over there 23rd Nov 1998 until 6-7 Jan 1999.
I remember the chinese place and the plaza to some extent.
