Wellington Get Together - Friday 24th November @ The Courtenay Arms
Friday 24th November, 6pm onwards
The Courtenay Arms, 26-32 Allen Street (just off Courtenay Place)
Get together with your fellow British Expats at an informal social gathering; make new friends, meet new people or just have a great laugh. This casual affair will happen at a British-style pub, served up with the finest British Ales on tap, and a selection of home-made bar snacks (wines and spirits also available).
To find us: we will be in the Lounge, which is the only area of the pub with carpeting so we're easy to find! The comfy sofas & traditional fireplace will provide an inviting atmosphere
If the event proves popular then of course we'll organise more!

I'm sorry it's not a good time of day for you - unfortunately it's impossible to pick a time that will suit everyone, but I'll probably organise another one (daytime / afternoon) if this is well attended!
On the note of attendance, things are looking good - I've had private messages and emails off the forum and placed an ad on Gumtree so it should hopefully be a good turnout!

Kev & Sara - course it's ok to pass details onto Kev's friend! People can come along by themselves as I'm sure there will be singles & couples :-)

Awwww the poor doggies, it's a stressful journey for them, but they bounce back. I hope he comes along, it would be nice for us to meet a fellow Mancunian, also Sophie (our Terrier) is getting confused by the regional accent and would I'm sure get along with a couple of other Manc woofers hehe.
