Wellies Meeting TOMORROW - Weds 15th August - change of venue!
Monthly Meeting - Change of Venue
Around 2 months ago The Wellies attended a Workshop run by Wellington City Council on skilled migrant issues. They are due to present the findings of the first workshop and how that translates into policy tomorrow night, at 5.30pm to 7pm at St Johns Conference Centre.
As this is pretty critical to The Wellies in terms of how the council can help and support us achieve our aim's (and we had a lot of input into the initial discussion), we thought it would be useful to move our monthly Wellies meeting to their location, so we could hear more about how the council is helping migrants make the move.
This invite is open to all Wellies members who would like to hear a bit more about migrant issues, what support is available, and how Wellington City Council is focussing on attracting and retaining skilled migrants.
St Johns Conference Centre is on the coner of Dixon and Willis St, just behind the big church as you look up the hill. Map is on the link below.

We look forward to seeing you all at this new location if you are interested in attending. Our usual meeting in the Dog and Bone will resume next month (Weds 19th September) - apologies if this late message doesn't reach you in time!
