Well we submitted our ITA!!
Hi Guys,
We finally submitted our ITA yesterday (by hand) it was worth the 112 miles each way and the 45 minute tube journey (them trains sure are mucky), it was for our own piece of mind that we delivered by hand.
We were fortunately selected from the pool quite quickly with 125 points and NO JOB OFFER, since then my husband has finished his job and we feel that to move things along a bit quicker he will try to get a job offer! (no point starting a new job here if we can be over there).
Hubby's NZQA is in Welding Fabrication, which he still does but in a more managerial role, our question is does he have to get a job as a Welder or can he try for a Manufacture/Production Manager position (Obviously pay is a lot better) or are the NZIS totally against you persuing a position that is not totally in your trade?
Really appreciate your replies.
Thanks
Claire

I'm not so sure how things work out for those with a Work to Residence Visa or similar.
Good luck
