Welcome to the New Zealand Section of B.E.
Hello and a big welcome to the New Zealand section of British Expats. 
Most of us here are keen to help and offer assistance to new members of British Expats, people looking at leaving the U.K. to come to New Zealand, and those already here.
Existing members have varying degrees of experience and knowledge of Britsh Expats, the emigration / immigration process and life in New Zealand itself.
New members will have to remember that this is a public forum and if you post on a thread or start a new thread, you may not always get the replies that you expect, or indeed, want to hear.
This can be for several reasons. A common one is that occasionally, an experienced member will post an accurate and factual reply which may dash your emigration hopes. Yes, it can be sad to read what you don't want to see but we would ask you to temper your replies.
Some replies may be based on personal experience and may be personal views only. Again, these can rankle at times but there are positives and negatives to emigration.
We also get spammers, or trolls
who post nuisance replies. We try to moderate these as soon as possible but bear with us if there is a delay in action being taken.
Rude and insulting replies will not be tolerated.
All of that said, B.E. aims to be a fun, educational and supportive community.
Not all members are forum savvy
and the emigration process can be very nerve-wracking. BUT, please feel free to post your questions and concerns.
