Default "Wee Hamish did nae stop cryin'...."

Imagine that? All the way from Aberdeen to Auckland. Now, I do not think Air NZ fly direct from Aberdeen, so I reckon Wee Hamish kicked off at Aberdeen Airport (I know how he feels - Aberdeen always makes me feel like crying too !) then they would've transferred to Glasgow (most likely). They then had to wait, wait, wait for the connection to that London. Hamish is still crying at this point apparently. They then transfer from either Luton or Gatwick (pretty sure the Glasgow flights don't land at Heathrow) so we're talking fairly long train ride (they're Scottish - no taxis!) - and Wee Hamish is STILL kicking off. Now we get to Heathrow, find the check-in, wait, wait, wait the we're off to Bangkok - remember, Scottish, so the cheap route - and Wee Hamish is STILL at it! We have a 11 hour flight to Bangkok, then a 23 hour layover. By now, Wee Hamish has been at it solidly for 40 hours and is STILL going strong. Eventually, they get to Auckland, and Wee Hamish is STILL at it. By now, the whole passenger list of the flight into Auckland wants to see Wee Hamish die in pain.

But, at last, they're here.

And then they bank with BNZ!

Some people have no luck, do they?

I give 'em 6 months tops.....

Just to correct you NZ do fly from Aberdeen to NZ via London, so therefore being a Scot the cheapest route would also equate to the longest route and meaning Wee Hamish would cry for longer

Wee Hamish is probably still crying with sunburn and missing those deep fried mars bars.

Wee Hamish's dad is a bleedin' Glaswegian, so what they were doing travelling from Aberdeen is anyone's guess, god could you imagine that long haul, "Hamish, stop cryin ya wee jakey bam, aye, hud yer whist yah glaikit wee radge, thats mair like it, legend".

Oh and Tranmere, I'm Scottish and fly Business Class everywhere thankyouverymuch...

Listen Jock - just because you have a seat, it don't mean it's Business Class, right?

But to dull all that pain look what the lovely PI Kiwi did in 20 minutes. Well I think that what she did ! I couldna understand what either of them were saying.

ANZ you mean? Sort it out .

Indeed though if you cried for that long you';d look like a prune, if a kid cried on an aircraft I was on for that long I'd ask it's owner to put it in the overhead locker .

Sadly all too true - I have to emphasise to people that the team's actually called "Tranmere Rovers FC" because most people think it's called "Tranmere Rovers Nil" *
