Hi all,

I know its a long way off but its good to bear it in mind with all the social occasions and festive dates coming up.

So its $4 drinks from 5 till 7 and after that drinks average about $6. We've been offered 10% off drinks after that time and also depending on the numbers they may do a deal on bar snacks (The Kumara fries are GORGEOUS :thumbup:)

As for transport - Bus numbers 955/973/974 go from Victoria St and Lower Albert st in the City every few minutes from 5pm and the return journeys are every 20-30 minutes after 9pm to the last buses which go at 10.35/11.02 and 11.15pm

From Takapuna you can get the 975/976 to Highbury shops

So..................who's interested ???? I'm going , my mum & dad will be there too plus some other friends - the more the merrier !!!!!!

:unsure: - its not a given. I have to ask em if it can be plugged into any of their screens and speakers. Would be good tho cos the bar has no entertainment planned for that evening.................

Went to The Slipp Inn last night and got a 10% discount card for anyone to use on food and drink outside of happy hour :thumbsup:

Im going over there during the week to see if the karaoke will work on one of their TVs.:thumbup::thumbdown:

The bar manager has also reserved an area next to the bar for whoever comes from 5pm

All I need is some more interest - Over to you .....................:beer:

Karaoke has a green light :thumbup:

So its happy hour from 5-7pm ands then once the whistles have been wetted post 7pm I'll get Karaoke going.
