Re: waiting for visa moving to nelson
Hi donutt
Sunny Nelson awaits 😎 We moved to Nelson a few years ago and all the secobdary schools have a good reputation. Each has their own distinct character and you'll pick that up immediately when you visit each one. I think I'm right in saying that you will have to live within the catchment areas for Waimea and Nayland but that Garin and Nelson Boys/Girls also offer boarding so will take those outside of catchment area (I think). They are all state schools. Drum teacher: Great teacher in Wakefield (short drive from Nelson) his email is [email protected] . He can put you in touch with other teachers if Wakefield is too far. He has a YouTube channel if you email him. Shipping: We used John Mason (great packing, service as promised and regular communication, just a few minor breakages). They crate framed pictures free of charge. We insured independently through Letton Percival (much cheaper quote and simple online application. Good luck with your move 😀 |
