Wain !

Well we had a bit of rain last weekend which was much needed here in the South Island but it has been great these past few days. Glorious day today apart from being a bit windy. Grass has been manicured and as I sit here now the blue sky is just beginning to fade in the twilight. And they say the North has the best weather!!!!! LOL

Oh it was great wasn't it! The garden needed it so much - our grass was going brown! This morning it's back to blue skies and sun
Perfect!

Even we've got it today.
First decent downpour since July though, so shouldn't complain
Pity it has to come now though

We had rain for Christmas day and it was cool, but that made the roast more bearable. It cleared in the afternoon so we could walk it off. Today was lovely, but with a cool breeze. We might've actually made 20. We've had much more rain than usual for this area at this time but the farmers think it's great.

Goodness. All this rain. I would be lost without it. It's like an old friend

I have to admit that we have gone from one extreme to the other. Last week it was cold as winter with lots of rain and no T shirts and shorts for us. We have now had 4 days straight in the high 20s to 30s and another tomorrow. After that it's supposed to turn nasty again but we wont talk about that. We've had just enough hot weather to feel like it's summer and with sunburn to prove it and a couple of trips to the beach and the river to cool off.
