Default waiheke commute ???

Hi,
can anyone shed any light on the realisticness of the above?
ie. reliability of ferry service from Waiheke to CBD, commute time, distance from ferry terminal at Auckland end to Parnell ?
thanks

Parnell has a really steep hill - it might depend if you are at the bottom or the top

Sorry can't help with the rest.

The crossing is approx 35 mins and up to 20 crossings a day the return ferry is $28.50 per adult. If you reside there you will be able to get concessions as we play them at football. If you dont fancy the walk the main bus station is right opposite the quay.

cheers for this, just looking at all suburbs around Auckland at the moment, trying to short list a few areas before i get there but this place definately got my attention, not too sure if it will feel rather isolated though ?? not that thats a bad thing!
thanks
