Reading quite alot lately about wages v cost of living. When we lived in NZ we seriously struggled on hubbys wage until I found a job. We paid rent and the usual bills. No flash car or trips away.

Can I ask what level of salary people are getting/will be getting versus will they have a mortgage/mortgage free or renting.

Just curious to see who is managing to live on x amount of $$s versus their expenditure.

No idea at the moment - no job yet.
However we should be able to buy a house with minimal mortgage.

when you say minimal you should remember that nothing is minimal in nz and that scotish was at the bottom end of the food chain
