Visa/Permit Query
Hi everyone
I have been living on the North Shore of Auckland for 4 weeks and absolutely love the place, so much that I can't really see myself going back to the UK. I am here on an initial 12 month WHV but have today been offered a job with AA Insurance working in their Earthquake Disaster team. They will be offering an initial 12 month contract as per my visa conditions, but I have made them aware that I would like to be sponsored to stay longer or even forever. This then poses the question of extending my visa or applying for a permit to stay. I have looked into this on the immigration website but have been left totally confused. I am sure there are people out there who have been in the same position as myself, so I ask for any information or help.
