Hi concretepump.

Congratulations on your visa.

My husband and I are only at the EOI stage with a job offer that has only just been offered so we'll have to update our EOI.
May I ask, your one year work visa, what route did you take to get this? Did you need a job offer for this visa?
If so, how long did it take for your visa to come through after you sent through your application?

Any advice would be great, thanks :)

hi yes we tried EOI but was turned down yet when we were in nz in 07 we were invited to apply for PR , but we knew we were coming back to uk so turned it down , then we hit recession so things changed,
now we have decided we want to go back and have been offered my old job back which is how we got the visa, it took about three months because they wanted one more blood test for my wife and a letter from her doctor, which we did and all was okay, we should be able to change to a WTR once we are there, but have to sell house first
