Validation time line
Hi we are a family of 4 from UK.
We have ubntil Feb 2013 to visit and validate residency visa.
What happens if only the adults can validate, we may have to leave the kids in school.
Will the kids have to reapply for residency?
Thanks in advance

All members have to validate. If they don't their visa will expire and you would have to start all over again for the children. This of course will mean paying out again!

Re: Validation time line
your gonna move the kids half way round the world and if they are still school age, turn their education on its head
I dont think I'd be bothered about pulling them out of school for a while while you sort out their future lives.
Education is important but missing a few weeks aint gonna make a blind bit of difference and if the school pulls
its face...so what !!

We did the same thing. Their school knew our plans and were happy to accommodate. As Col has already said, you're moving schools, education systems and countries. What's a few weeks going to matter? Travel is an education and it could also help settle their nerves about moving, when they see all the things they can do, when you move here.

Who's going to make you leave the kids in school? As Col and Sirplug have said you're leaving the school anyway. I've never known of anyone being stopped from taking their kids out of school term in my school. Needs must!
