Yes. I have something I wish to send to a pal in the USA but have hung back as not really sure it would ever arrive.

Yes, USPS (United States Postal Service) is having difficulties with mail delivery here. I don't know if UPS (United Parcel Service) is also affected. The first is a government agency and the second is a private agency.

I have found the cost of shipping anything from US these days to be totally prohibitive and not worthwhile. Besides international post in general seems to be munted, it's taking four or more weeks for some family birthday cards to arrive from the UK.

Yes. That's true. Been waiting 2 months for a book. I gave up on GRO family history certificates. I have them sent to a good pal back in the UK and she scans them over to me.

Can't send my American pal this thing via online within the US as it is very NZ specific to do with conservation and....albatross.

Freight rates are crazy...if you can even book a slot. A lot of freight is just sitting in ports having been bumped ship-to-ship for months.
