Good point MOSO, did check that out, trying to get a total picture on the motorway and wondering about values, must say the agents are being very upfront (as they should) my thoughts it may push values up in some cases. Shame about the capital connection, this could further explain the low prices in the area. On a resent trip to NZ (living os atm) I was really impressed with how the area has gone ahead in the few years we have been away, no longer the retirement backwater. Any idea about MOSO on the Waikanae beach area, wondering if prices there could change with the motorway, it was the one area I saw little change in and its such a nice little place.

when we were buying the estate agent said he expected the prices in Waikanae Beach area to increase with people working on the new road way wanting to live nearer to the work. so we do expect prices to increase but that's to be seen
