So I got an email this morning from London temp applications saying my medical certificate is now under referral with the health assessment team and said I will get an update in 2-3wks.

I phoned and asked why it's been referred because I was told everything was 'normal' and no findings by the panel doctor. The guy I spoke to at INZ was really nice but said he can't see the reason all he can see is 'medical assessment'?!

Anyone else any experience of this and what was the reason in the end for it being referred?

The process is automatic so any of the numbers fall out of the "norm" will be referred by the computer ( nine and Mrs inked were BMI)

Ahh thanks.

I spoke to my panel doctor today to ask what she thought it might be, she said one of my blood results was slightly over the normal, however she didn't think it would be flagged and put high end of normal in her report she still doesn't see it being an issue so hopefully that's it! My bmi is normal so fingers crossed!

I did ask the panel doctor if I should have any more blood tests to pre empt any hold ups but she said no my numbers were so slightly out the margin she can't see INZ asking for anything further which is why she marked it as normal and didn't even consider it being flagged. I really hope she is right 🙉.
