Default UK teachers in NZ

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. After giving much consideration into a move to NZ I've finally made my choice. Last year I got the ball rolling with my teacher regsistration and NZQA assesment. I recon I'll be coming over this time next year. I'm trying to do as much reading and research as possible. Anyway....to get to the point, there seems to be a large negative contingent of people slagging the place off! I know it's not for everyone, but could someone give me some possitives? I mean as a teacher in the UK how would my qualitiy of life comapre? Is dicipline better? Are teachers just as over worked as they are in the UK?

Cheers

a) No nuclear fuel...

b) Well organized. Everything runs on time - except a hospital appointment to see the specialist :curse:

c) Low population density

d) A flat class system.

And that's about it!

Paradise on earth it's not. But where is?

Nope mate. No major slagging that I can see. A few lively debating threads started of late but no major slagging.

I suggest you have a bit better read and search of the site to help you gather info for your research. There are also teachers on the site that may offer some help and guidance in all sorts of ways
