Default UK storage costs

Hi guys, has anyone rented out their house unfurnished and put all worldly goods into storage? I've tried several sites but they tend to give size but not price. Looking for storing contents of a standard 3 bed house. Thanks

We used Allied Pickfords in Devon and Cornwall and we were charged about 45 UK pounds a week for a 40 foot container in 2006/7 which would take a 3 bed house easily I would say. Not sure what the price would be now though. Hope that helps.

I think we were paying 31UKP per week earlier this year, for a 20ft container with PSS. Can't remember if that also included insurance - I think it did?

Thank you everyone. Bit of a shock on the price though, thought about leaving it for a LONG time. Right, back to the drawing board......
