UK sparky help !!ewrb and visa process??
 

hello

im a sparky in the uk, looking to go nz with my pregnant wife we are just waiting to hear back from ewrb provisional licence

saw your post and hoped you could help with general info bout the process - :huh:

EWRB

-whats the courses/when/where/length of courses/how often are they run

- any courses run in the uk

- is the provisional licence valid for 1 year then you do courses then you can register

-how do you get a full licence

- what does the job offer entail,does it have to have a start date/certain pay/company

- while waiting for visa can i work as an electrician without nz courses but in a supervised job?

-can you get a job without nz courses

-can you apply for visa with job offer but no nz courses

is this the correct order of how to go about the visa process.....................

1- EWRB
2- Provisional Positive
3 - fly NZ
4 - NZ Courses/ewrb register
5 - Job Offer
6 - EOI
7 - Medicals/Police
8 - Visa Application
9 - Start job
10 - full licence ewrb

how long is the whole process?
how long from sending EOI to visa?

if we are in nz doing nz courses, looking for a job etc during the 6mths-1year what are the chances of visa being refused at the final leg?

is it pretty safe to say once you have prov licence, done nz courses and got job offer we are in and visa process should be ok?

does the job offer to proove to the visa process have to be really detailed and from a allocated company?

how long am i required to stay in that job for/how soon am i required to start? what paperwork from the job is required as proof?

how easy is it to get sparky jobs in NZ - best places to look?

do most employers look for ewrb registration and nz courses?

while in NZ applying for visa on UK passport will we be entitled to medical?

can we get mortgage?

how long till we are granted permanant residency?

my wife is pregnant what are the medical costs of having a baby - labour- scans-jabs etc?:unsure:

well think thats about it we really need as much info as you can as ewrb web is not very clear and there is no link to break things down and tell us exactly what we need to do - we just need plain and simple answers for whatever you know
