Hi All,
Just a word of warning, I put in a 200 quid order to M&S with a delivery date of 8 august, it hadnt turned up by the 18 so i emailed them, they traced my parcel to Auckland customs, 5 days later i got a bill from customs for $156 or I wont get my parcel:frown: |

I didn't have any problems with my order, what a bummer for u:thumbdown: If you had the full address with post code then surely someone else is accountable for this mistake...if i was you i'd e-mail M&S leave the parcel in Auckland & when you get an apology re-order:thumbup: Tray

nope- i reckon you were lucky- its happened to two people i know and if you read the consumer article you are supposed to be charged.

Yes, reckon we very lucky as we've received two orders now...I must admit i'm a bit rubbish at looking at the small print.But now you mention it where is this consumer article you talk of, I want to read it now!:rofl:Tray

This new levy only came out in July 2010 which explains why it didn't affect us, so it wasn't down to luck after all! thanks for the link it's useful to know:thumbup:

rofl:Yes,M&S do make exceedingly good underwaer! if you like your Lingerie Bravissimo and Fig leaves also deliver to NZ:thumbsup:
I think if your order is small then it's fine,as my M&S order came in August too and I was ok.Also just had a cuople of e-books arrive from uk amazon and we were ok there too which is strange as it was over 400:unsure: maybe it was because they were gifts:thumbsup:Tray |
