The form is a bit misleading... Address where you are registered to vote. Well I don't live in the uk so I no longer have one. I'm not making the effort to vote, if they get a no it will probably end up like the Scottish one. People fighting to still get a yes vote.

A quick straw poll of people round me indicates it may be a yes, mainly due to racist ignorance going by the reasons I'm being given.

Use the last address you held in the UK.

Thank you BiP.

The thoughts about the EU thing runs deep & goes back to when I first voted about in or out of the EU community.

You're correct, a Yes vote to remain in the EU will be a fairly racist result. Strongly dislike the discrimination against those from the commonwealth and those outside of the EU. Hopefully we can stop being little Europeans and embrace the world again.

I'm no longer registered to vote at that address, my parents took us off. Makes no sense to me but most likely as I don't read up on it

Thanks for that link, I remember noticing the same too late for last year's election, though then with it being first past the post, it wouldn't have mattered who I'd voted for as like many seats, there was zero chance of it changing hands.

I wouldn't even know which way to vote because the implications are far more wide reaching than the obvious issues of inward migration to the UK from member states - what would become of all the Brits that are living and /or working in other EU countries?

I registered a couple of weeks ago.

I'll be voting to leave, I have never been a pro Europe person.
There is a lot of scaremongering going on, trying to frighten
people into voting to stay in and of course the personal attacks
will start, such as labelling people as racists if they don't share your opinion

Dislike of Johnny Foreigner will lead to people voting to leave. Hysteria about Migration whipped up by the Mail and Express will have the same effect. I am not hugely enthusiastic about Brussels and the EU but I can see the argument that it has afforded a measure of protection for workers, as well as making cross-border movements easier.

I left the UK 4 years ago to start a new life in NZ and am very happy with my decision so what moral right have I got to cast my personal views on the future of a nation that I am no longer part of. Conditions within the UK have changed greatly since most emigrants left so their votes will be hardly judging the current conditions of the island.

What are the polls saying as to how this will go? If the vote is to leave Europe, what will become of the Brits living in Spain or France etc?
