UK to NZ - September 2012
So it's time to get September's arrival list on the go
As per usual, may I have your leaving date from the UK (or elsewhere, if you're coming here from somewhere else in the world), your arrival date in NZ & where you plan to live in New Zealand.
Cheers

Re: UK to NZ - September 2012
Hi all, my partner (Stacey) and I (Mike) will be leaving the UK on the 17th September to arrive Auckland on the 18th. I plan to live very centrally, around Victoria Street West. Very much looking forward to the move.
I have a position secured with a large construction firm as a Commercial Manager; as a result I have the VISA application underway through the essential skills route.
My partner is a financial accountant but has yet to secure a position and will be looking in due course. Any hints in this department is appreciated.
Hope everyone is well, and look forward to speaking to you all

Hi
My family (kiwi husband and 2 girls aged 1 and 2) are leaving the UK on 20th September and arrive on 30th September.
I have a job in Auckland CBD (as a lawyer) and hubby will be job hunting (also a lawyer) when we get there. Failing that, he says he is going to take up surfing!
We are hoping to live in Westmere/Point Chev areas....
Vicky

If we didn't have so much bloody luggage I wanted to stop over a couple days too... Although the other half would want to shop - I'm more interested in sight seeing!

Re: UK to NZ - September 2012
Hi we are new to the forum!
We are due to arrive in Christchurch, NZ by 10th September. My husband has a job offer on the essential skills list and they are desperate for him to start!
We have 2 young children, aged 4 and 3 and I'm 27 weeks pregnant!
My 4 year old has Down Syndrome, has anyone experienced issues in NZ regarding children with additional needs?? I would be very interested to know!

Husband and I leave UK on 26 September - arrive in Auckland on 28 September.
Going to live in Tauranga. Parent Visa - permanent residency granted. Retired from NHS - zzzzzzzz - we have forgotten what are two children and 5 grandchildren look like but soon we will remember as they all live in Tauranga.
Applied for visa in 2007 - took two years to sell our house and have just sold it - we are nearly at the winning post - scared, excited and so very, very happy!
