We leave the UK on the 21st July 2011 - flying from Birmingham to Auckland with a short 3hr stop in Dubai :thumbsup::thumbup:

Should be arriving via Brisbane in the first week of July. I am over on my 2 year WHV with my half Kiwi partner, leaving the rat race in London and can't wait!!

My wife Steph, 14 year old son Brett and myself (Dave) will be arriving on the 13th of July in Auckland. We leave Heathrow on the 11th via LA :thumbup:

We have Residence Visas and Steph starts at Starship Childrens Hospital on the 25th July.

I`ve been waiting for ages for this thread to appear.......We are all sooooooo excited now!!!!!

Agreed - we've been waiting for this thread too!

Starship is right next to my new workplace at City Hospital!

Should also mention my wife and 5yr old daughter are also making the move, and we're on residence visas.

Due to fly into Welly from Oz (1st or 2nd July) and tour N Island for a few weeks before settling in Auckland.

Anyone got any tips for how I can blag I know a bit about rugby?! :confused:

My wife Clare and two daughters (Lily 5 and Jasmine 2) leave the UK from Heathrow on the 16th and arrive in Auckland on the 26th after a week in LA.:thumbsup:
Can't believe we are at the point where we can add our names to the roll call, we've been watching these threads come and go for months now and our departure date always seemed so far away........NOT NOW!!!:eek::thumbsup:

1st or 2nd July. Bassking leaves Oz. Arrives soon after! (Wellington then Auckland).
11th July. Ninja757(Steph, Brett & Dave). Arrives 13th July. (Auckland)
16th July. Gazmfc(& Clare, Lily & Jasmine). Arrives 26th July. (Auckland, after a week in LA :sneaky:).
21st July. Rick78(& wife & daughter). Arrives 23rd July(Auckland).

You all seem to have the good sense to head for Auckland. Not that I'm biased or anything :lol:

I wonder how much of an impact the EQ is ChCh have had on a) the number of people choosing NZ as a possible destination and b) where they live in NZ?

We were initially moving to ChCh before the EQ!

Can't believe I am actually adding to this thread - it's been a long time coming and I really thought I'd never get to do this . . . . . . . but anyway, I am and we're flying with Singapore Airlines from Manchester on July 19th arriving July 20th . . . . . . OMG!!! Would you please add me to the list?
