Ok ....... day 2. The packers came yesterday to box everything
Container will be here in about an hour for loading ...
that everything fits in a 20ft. So far am very impressed with John Mason packers.... although think they are sick of me saying " ooo could I just squeeze this and that into another box, will this go in here "!!!!! Am keeping them sweet with sausage and bacon sarnies 
doesn't help that cos everything is now boxed we went out for dinner last night and ended up having one too many vinos...... heads are not good today
back to making more coffees and teas for the workers!!!!!

All the best for your move louloumama. We will be in your position in 2 weeks and reading your mail sent a tingle up my spine!!
We live in a world of lists. To-do lists. Cancellation letters list. Friends to contact list. Packing list. Farewell to-do list. Etc Etc Etc.
And everytime I cross something off I think of two more things to add.
It's also a fragile world with tearful kids, crumbling wife, snivelling friends... Just think positive, stay focused...
I just want to get on the bloody plane.

Finally got our visas through, flights booked for next saturday, and although this should have taken place in december, we eventually got things sorted!

And then panic set in..
OH Liz phoned T-mobile to tell them we are leaving UK whereupon her phone immediately packed up. Now scouring half-packed house to find an obsolete phone and charger that go together.
