Solo traveller, flight not booked but leaving UK c.30th August, fly from Manchester/London to Auckland, working all over the North Island from 10 September, based in the BOP at Tauranga.

Can't wait to get a car and travel the country in my long weekends.

Hi Guys!
We are leaving the UK on 1 August ,via Singapore to Brisbane for 2 weeks with Tim's relatives then to Christchurch on 16 August.

We are Malin (myself ) Tim (my husband ) and Megan (our 14 year old daughter)
Our visa's came through today (Tim doesnt need one because he is an Australian citizen )
We have a motor lodge sorted for a week and we need to find a rental which accepts cats (dogs and pony have been sucessfully rehomed,3 furkids will be travelling and quarantined )
Ihaven't posted on here recently but no doubt once we are in CHC we are very likely to want to get to know people and may well need all of your's very valuable advice.
Very excited.
Just emailed MAF to see if Jeyes fluid still acceptable or if I have to re-treat everything with Virkon S instead.If so I know I can get 50 grammes for £2.50 dilutes to 5 litres,from where we used to get hay for the pony.

Flights on the 21st August for me, hubby and the kids. Stopver in Hong Kong for a few days arrive in Auckland 28th. Looking to purchase a 6 berth camper to tour around first before settling! Now trying to book short term accom while we find the camper! Enclosed space with 2 children !

A quick update for those interested: We've booked accommodation in Takapuna for when we arrive! Car sorted too for when we land...7 Large suitcases to lug to the airport all packed, plus hand luggage, a car seat and a stroller buggy! Thank heaven for porter service at the airport! haaahhh.. and relax!

Thanks for the update, this next week will fly by for you. It sounds as if you're all organised & ready to go, hopefully the weather will be kinder next week. Lots of rain in Auckland this week & the forecast seems the same for the weekend . Takapuna's a good place to be based, lots of facilities.

Flights have been booked!!! Manchester to Dubai to Melbourne to Auckland - got a free transit hotel in Dubai.
We're flying out on 15th August arriving in Auckland on the 17th!!!!
