UK govt state pension

Hi,
I've been told that in order for us to keep our state pensions, we need to keep paying our NIS payments even though we wont be living in the UK.

Anyone know anything about this or have any advice.

e.g. does NZ have an agreement with the UK where they transfer over the pension to NZ?

I'm sure there was a thread in here somewhere about this, cos it got me thinking as well. Try a search in the thread search using pensions and you may get it. Can't help more than that though, unfortunately.:)
