UK couple in Auckland, wanting to make friends with other UK expats :-)
Hi All
Just wondering if there any couples or singles out there in a similar position to us, we moved out 2 months ago to Auckland and are struggling to make friends.
If there are any people out ther who fancy starting to chat to make friends and maybe catch up at weekends for maybe a coffee, beer, food, fishing, walking, cycling, farmers market etc, then great.
Thanks
Ria

Hi Ria,
My husband and I are both ex pats and have been out here for 9 years now. We live out West but feel free to send us a message if you fancy a meet up one weekend.

Hi there, I'm new here too - arrived at Easter, similarly finding it hard to meet new people. I'm just over in Three Kings. If you fancy a coffee / pub meet anytime just msg me

Hi Ifcfan
I am also in Mangere Bridge and have been in NZ for a month now.
I'm English but wife is a Kiwi, and we moved over after our daughter was born.
Being new to NZ and settling in, have found it difficult to meet up with new people and am keen to get out for a beer.
Although Mangere Bridge is not great for bars, have you tried The Landing (on the Onehunga side of the footbridge?) If you two fancy a beer there or The Zookeepers let me know.
Gavin

We're north of the bridge and always happy to meet! Whilst Laura's made a few friends at work... I work in IT... which sadly means most people aren't that social and would rather work than socialise!
It's hard to make new friends but try not to let it get you down.
Dave.

We, Richard and Jacqui, are on the Shore too and always up for meet up. Busy this weekend but then pretty much free. If anyone fancies it, lets get a date in the diary

Hi Richard and Jacqui
How about a meet up in Devonport? We can catch the ferry over... trying to arrange one on a similar thread, next weekend is the only weekend out of the question, but can put a date in the diary any time after that (expect the 9th June - off to see the AB's v Ireland)

We're in Royal Oak, stumbling distance from Zookeepers. I'm English (from ST Helens), so know the Wirral well. Partner is Kiwi but a LFC fan. He's working back in London at the moment, but keen for a meet up sometime.

Devonport sounds like a plan. Name the day and we will put it on the calander. Dida's might be a good place to meet unless you have anywhere else in mind.

Hi Guys
How do people feel about a few beers and a night in The Zookeepers Son at Royal Oak on Sat 19th May?
