Thanks for your good wishes. I am finding this last week really hard. Saying goodbye to everyone is killing me. Very emotional, crying a lot! Now my daughter, Harriet says she's not getting on the plane on Sunday!! She says she's not ready. I think its also after saying goodbye to all her friends. My husband is not coming out for a few months, is being very vague, I wonder if he will ever come!!
I just need to get through these last few days and drag one teenager kicking and screaming through Heathrow!!
Would love to meet up with anyone in Auckland when we get there!!

Thanks a lot. We have done the first flight which is the longest, over 13 hours. We are now a Singapore waiting for the next one which will be easy compared to the last, just over 9 (hope we leave on time) Gail will be waiting at the airport in Auckland.
Used the Ambassadour Transit Hotel which was very good as always. Now in the Special Service Lounge waiting for someone to collet us and take us to the gate.
I think I have said this before the assistance service here is brilliant you are treated like royalty. The supply free tea, coffee & water in the service lounge another added bonus. It cost us 2 pounds for a coffee at Manchester and we were being assisted there as well. Hey ho.
One drawback re the Service lounge, its next to kiddies play area and there a few screeching kids there at the moment.
Not long now.
Another added bonus free internet access.
All the best to everyone who is travelling next.
p.s. There was an empty seat next to us, another bonus.
