You forgot the bums There's quite a bit of gore too.

I like the scifi/fantasy genre but I'm happy to wait for the DVDs of each series. Some people I know are obsessed with it but it's more political intrigue in <skanty> fancy dress than scifi/fantasy IMO. The complexity of the plot and interweaving of threads is good and sometimes overshadowed by a bit too many bums/boobage IMO but then I am old....

I have unlimited internet ($94) and I pay for Netflix ($12.99) Lightbox ($12.99) and I have splashed out and got myself Fan Pass (Sky Sports 1-4) at $55 a month.

This covers all my entertainment with no contracts and no adverts and no shitty TV. I am open to cancelling the Sky if they don't show me what I want (which is basically the cricket and the rugby) but otherwise I'd be paying over $120 for Sky per month to get those sports and not getting any of the TV I want anyway :P

Given terrestrial TV's increased push towards the Z list celebrity dross (Bravo and TV3) we've moved over to Netflix. Probably not a patch on the US version, but it's proving to be worth the $12.99 a month.

Is Lightbox any good?

All we have at present is NZ freeview TV We did away with Sky as it was rubbish. We did sometimes watch dramas via the laptop and unotelly.

Perhaps I should spend some time to sort this . Himself likes his sports& I like good drama, debates . We both miss good comedy.

I think they have a free month trial - also some Spark packages offer it free. It's ok - no adverts is a big plus for me.

90% of the channels are dross or Dave TV standard. the rest you can get for free elsewhere.

Has anyone got the BBC2 Mythical Islands three episodes on NZ, or know how I can get it?

It is available for video download from the BBC store for £5 but they won't supply to NZ

You need to use a vpn or dns provider. I use Getflix, or you could try local company DNS4me

You can then stream it directly from iplayer onto your computer.

That's less than 2 cucumbers, bargain.

Every bit of TV you could ever want it available to download via torrents, even though our TV has BBC iPlayer, ITV, Channel4, Netflix I still use torrents to download stuff not available on Demand.

If you don't know how to use torrents google it, once you have the file you simply pop it on a USB Stick and if your TV was made in the last 5+ years you put the USB stick in the back of your TV and watch away.

Took me 5 mins to set up and worked well. The BBC2 program Mythical Islands is well worth watching if you haven't yet.

Many thanks
