Trying to locate information.

Is there anybody out there that can direct me to information about Taupo. Going there soon for a holiday, but unable to locate any information or pictures. Would be very grateful for any help.

We live in Rotorua - so just 55 minutes drive away and go there regularly. Lake Taupo was my Dads favourite placein NZ when he came here for a holiday - ge said he would love to retire there. Is is stunningly beautiful and a great little town. Pinkie Pie's link is great. If there is anything I can tell you or be helpful with let me know.
