Just wondering which countries will we be able to travel to when we get to Auckland...
I hold French passport, he holds British passport. And we will have work visas.

You can travel as tourists to most countries without the need for visas, based on your french and british passports. visa requirements are based on your nationality, the fact that you have NZ work permits does not make much difference in reality..

I think you may be able to live in tahiti if you have a french passport... ???

i think the cost and time to do travelling is more of a hurdle than your pssports...
