Travel insurance and surgery abroad.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any insurance companies that would cover me for travelling to Australia for surgery.

I'm not expecting the surgery aspect to be covered but want cover for all the usual stuff, cancelled flights, lost/stolen luggage etc.

Anyone know of any specialist insurance companies?

Try nibtravel, not sure if they do one offs as their website is rubbish, but worth a call

Thanks Mrs F shall try them if my usual health/travel insurer won't cover me. Think BEVS mentioned an insurer on another thread but can't remember where or what it was!

Hooray! Having been turned down by my usual insurer SCTI, I have managed to get cover through 1Cover. Such a huge relief.
