transferring money to a UK account

Is it easy to transfer money from a NZ account to UK?

I'll have few things still going out here after we leave, so intend to keep uk account open for a while.

keep it open forever basically as very very hard if you ever want to open one if you are not living there, also means you can still do presents etc to family.

Hifx is the one I use, their bank in the UK is Barclays.

Yep. Easy as.
We still have UK accounts and use Transferwise to transfer cash as needed.

Do they give you a good rate? Starting to look into it now as my forces pension will be paid into a UK bank account and I'll be transferring it as a when we need extra cash.

Better than the banks, against other money transfer companies I could not say as it would depend on fees, if any. I use HiFx as I find it really easy really can't be arsed to go back and forth trying to suss out which site is going to possibly give you and extra £5.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into them a bit more. After a similar thing to you, somewhere that's easy to use and safe. Like you, not interested in getting the best rate, just something good and reliable.
