Where can I find out more about possible training / further education opportunities in NZ for our teenage daughter?

try nzqa.govt.nz for a start.

there has sum bad press about fly by night institutions so take time researching institutions.

if yuore looking at universities u should be able to tell the good/respectable ones, such as University of Auckland, Otago University, Canterbury University, Massey University, Victoria University etc

The big centres all have technology colleges, for catering, hairdressing, building etc. This is the web site for Wellington's www.weltec.ac.nz
