Default Train & McDonalds...

The train thingy has hit me yesterday...
I could not believe that there is one train person per train compartment... I guess it's a good way to keep people in employment, I guess... And Saturday on my way to Sylvia Park, there was this guy who had a one stage ticket (Need 3 stage to Sylvia Park) well he was asked to purchase a new ticket or leave the train once we entered the second stage bit...
Today, as I came back from Newmarket, I had no cash but Eftpos only to pay for my $1.40 ticket... He just told me that he'll take me to the ticket office when we reach britomart so I can pay... I apologised and sat there waiting for the humiliation once in Britomart. As we reached, I went to him and said "You meeting me at ticket office?" He just said "No, go up there and pay!" I was so shocked that I went n paid!! The woman that took my payment was even more surprised...

McDonalds, been here 4 weekd and had today my first NZ McDonalds... Well people, over here you have to pay 50cents for your mayo... Unbelievable!!

If you hadn't handed over $1.40 for no good reason to the train people you'd have been able to afford two sachets of mayo. And maybe a few napkins.

AHAH Cheeky welsh!!

In France, condiments are free... Pretty sure that I never paid for them in the UK either...
Not a big deal, just little differences...

I wonder if that's a franchise thing? I haven't had to pay for condiments at mcdonalds or burger king.
