OMG, it was so scary. I was on a live meeting, heard the thunder and the lashing of the rain then there was this awful sound. looked out the window and leaves and branches were flying pass. Screamed "tornado" and dived under my desk. The people on the meeting were very shocked, their faces when I reappeared from under the desk. - lol

We were very lucky, it ran through our dog run so on the smaller side of land of the house. Next road over was not so lucky. friends house had some of his roof off and doors ripped off hinges, another in the same road had trees up, conservatory damaged, glass everywhere and 1 tree just missed their car. Next road up had a Norfolk Pine tree go through their roof just missing a car, this is a work place and one employee was upstairs and thought the sky looked funny and went downside telling the others he thought there was going to be a hail storm. before the Norfolk pine crashed through the roof.

So will not care if I never have to go through that again

So very glad to learn you lived through it Mrs.Fychan. Twisters are one of the most horrible storms known. There is no warning usually that a funnel is about to hit you.

Yeah. Saw it on the news. Rather nasty event all round. Glad you and you pals are all safe.

Seems to be a few weeks of rotten weather at the moment.

Ironically, my friend in Florida experienced a tornado the same day as you. Her house has been condemned and she suffered a broken hip. Glad you are safe.

JollyGood on BE got wiped out a while ago by weather in the USA I know Moneypenn's area has suffered. It is all dreadful.
Not such good news for the Kapiti and swells today. Hope you and your area are ok.
