I've just remembered that it was Travelbag and I had to ring them because I wanted to stay in Singapore for a few days on the way to Auckland, but they are the cheapest one way tickets that I can find. If anyone has found any cheaper flights than £490 ish for adults and £407ish for children please let me know because I've just accepted an offer on my house so will be going in a few months

Thinking of flying Air New Zealand....

Going in May...

2 adults and two kids one-way £1774.20...

Breaks down into £694 for two adults, £522 for two kids and £558 for taxes...

Includes a stopover in Hongkong!

Thinking this is o.k?

That doesn't seem to be outrageous to me. Just over 400 pp , quite a good price really for AirNZ with a stopover ! And you get good luggage allowance because you are an emigrant ! Ned, the Original Thread Poster, is paying a lot more. 558 for taxes is standard for AirNZ (4 people)

So you edited that post to fix a spelling mistake? I had to translate it out of Geordie.

Mmm , it's a public holiday in Oz Monday (Oz day) so you won't get a reply until Wednesday UK time , IOM ticket price will be a little less, but you get large luggage allowance, but you will have to travel via Oz (Qantas), nah I would book it at the travel agency asap, the nearer you get to the departure, the higher the price.

Looking to nip to Melbourne from Welly in either June or July, any suggestions on cheap sources of flights, not a lot of choice on carriers alas, haven't yet found anything for less than about $300 odd dollars each way...
