Last night was.. haha. was a nightmare.. woke me up a few times (am sure .. am not the only one... my neighbours..and ppl here who live in Welly area... all ) aaaaahhh... the noisy - the doors...shut open shut open... haha....unbelievable...

It is another very hot day in Auckland.

The only thing spoiling it for me is knowing I have to go back to work tomorrow after being on holiday since 23rd December.

I concur with WP.....wet,windy and dull here in Dunedin Hope it improves as my in-laws are here and have had 1 day of sun since they arrived.

Good luck with that Phyl, my mother has always come to visit around this time, and she usually gets crap weather until the week before she goes home - usually around last week in January/first week in February

We are off to Te Anau at the weekend so it's nice. They are in Dunedin until 2nd Feb then go to CHCH pick up camper van and tiki tour all the way to the top of the north,back to Auckland to drop van off then back to us for a week. They MUST get some nice weather in there surely!

I do have long hols. I have been in my job long enough to get an extra week and the three days between christmas and new year as paid leave days.

It's been very hot and humid day here again but the sky has low grey clouds.

Hubbie says strong gales are heading our way tomorrow.
