Clouds and somewhat chilly as one would expect for now. Nice little Antarctic chill setting in already.

Good downpour of rain last night.

Rubbish summer all in all & I hear that Northland etc are still in drought despite recent rains. Honestly, one minute it is floods , next it is drought.

The weather may not have been much cop with little sunshine days and a touch chilly but it was dry wasn't it. Even we had to switch over to fill our tank from the mains.

Back at ya BEVS - it's pretty pretty blooming good here too!

Rain last night and sun again today. Although I will concede it is cooler.

Good a few mins up the coast in Kapiti - bright blue sky all morning and just a few clouds in the afternoon. I took the kids to the beach yesterday and today - they even went in the sea today

Got a call from my husband in Wellington though moaning it was grey and overcast there

It's been a glorious day, not a cloud in the sky but a wee bit parky out of the sun. I am however feeling the chill tonight and have succumbed to searching out a jumper and some socks, whilst putting some heating on.

I think this might be the earliest in the year we have done this, although I do seem to remember having to do similar last Easter, which was a tad later than this year.

bear in mind I've just come from London where it was really cold over the weekend, so the temps of ~14-16C felt like summer!

I remember feeling like that my first winter here. I landed at the end of July and thought it felt like late Spring.

Lovely clear blue skies today but that breeze has a cutting chill about it.

I'm steadfastly keeping into the shorts at the moment but have double t-shirts on and a pair of spotty socks. Very comely. I know that later on I'll be donning the old job bottoms.

Husband is suggesting we do a sealed bet with each other on when we think the log burner will first be lit.
